Reefkeeper and pinpoint ph are the same price and I need to monitor my tank parameters better. Which one is the better unit?

Do you have a controller? If so use it or I would invest in a controller versus putting money only into a monitor. JR is only 224.00 and Jeff trout has one for sale for 175 I think with DC 8 with it :D

if the reefkeeper lite tests pH, comes with a probe, controls 4 outlets and is the same price, than of course you should get it. Also, it will let you control lights, measure temp and expand as your system (budget) grows.

Go with the controller you invest to much money in the sytem, it will pay off! do not go down the road like I did and a heater stuck on and bye bye $1000 in coral!
