my nitrates are 0... My phosphates are 0. My ph is 8.2 and I'm running gfo. This Cyano bacteria is still here smh. Only thing I can think of is knew t5 bulbs which I plan on purchasing. Not sure if it's a flow problem because it's scattered in little patches everywhere. Any suggestions on what I can do?

Be patient. When cycling....which takes longer than you think it should.....one day....it will just be gone !

Even if conditions for it aren't favorable, it can be hard to get rid of once it's established. Run some chemiclean to clear it out. If it re-appears, you probably have something going on that needs fixed. Chemiclean is reef safe as long as you follow the directions. Good luck.

I tried something called Red slime remover and it worked fine for a few weeks then reappeared once I changed my rocks around. I do think there is a problem I don't know about. Thanks I'll try chemi clean as well.

Are you using biopellets or carbon dosing?

Cyano is bacteria. Vibrant is bacteria as well, and is primarily used by people to fight bubble and hair algae. Some people that have used it have reported issues with Cyano afterwards, so I'm not sure if it will help or not. I would research it's use in getting rid of Cyano before just trying it.
